Nancy Agin Dunnahoe
Nancy Agin Dunnahoe (Indigenous Cultural Consultant) is an award-winning writer and content producer experienced in both corporate marketing and media relations. She holds an M.A. in Arts Leadership from the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at the University of Houston (UH) and a B.A. in English-Creative Writing from The Honors College at UH.
She helps artists preserve their living archives as contemporary art history. From 2015-2024, she was the publicist and archivist for mydolls, Houston’s longest-performing female-fronted art punk band (1979), who appeared in Wim Wenders’ film PARIS, TEXAS (1984). In 2016, she and mydolls participated in the music lecture series 20HERTZ at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. In 2019, she participated in an artist archives lecture panel with GONZO247 and Carolyn Casey Figueroa for Latino Art Now!, sponsored in part by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
As a Certified Texas Master Naturalist, Nancy is deeply committed to environmental stewardship and native habitat conservation. Her land management is grounded in her Indigenous heritage, reflecting a profound respect for ancestral practices and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).
morgan pfaff
Morgan Pfaff (Production Manager & Stage Manager) is a senior at the University of Houston concentrating in Stage Management. She has been interested in theater from a young age and has a knack for piecing together people and places and things in a way that only a stage manager can do.
Katie Creeggan-Ríos
Katie Creeggan-Ríos (Creative Consultant) is the Executive Director of the Houston Cinema Arts Society. She is a native Houstonian and worked professionally as a Stage Manager for ten years before transitioning into the world of arts and community engagement through film. She received her B.F.A. in Stage Management from the University of Houston School of Theatre & Dance, and her M.A. in Arts Leadership from the University of Houston College of the Arts. She is also a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association.
Trent Wittenbach
Trent Wittenbach (Director of Photography/Cinematographer) brings more than 20 years of experience in the film and television production industries working on commercials, corporate video, documentaries, feature films, music videos, and reality tv. His still photography work includes assignments for advertising, corporate, editorial, and fashion clients.
He has employed just about every format from state-of-the-art digital motion picture camera systems to prosumer specialty cameras and 16/35mm film. He is comfortable with large and small productions and dedicated to bringing the highest production value possible to every project and budget.
With a formal education in photography and real-world experience that comes from rising through the ranks of the camera department, his solid technical background allows the most effective use of available resources and provides the freedom to concentrate on the creative demands of any production.
GONZO247
GONZO 247: (Contributing Artist & Creative Consultant)
Mario Enrique Figueroa, Jr., artistically known as GONZO247, is a Houston native and a self-taught multidisciplinary artist with over 30 years of experience. GONZO’s recognizable style of art, some in the form of large murals, adorn various neighborhoods around the city and state and in places around the world.
GONZO247 participated as a leading figure and pioneered graffiti and street art culture as an energetic underground art movement in Houston. He produced Aerosol Warfare, the video series documenting graffiti culture through the 1990s and 2000s. He co-founded the Houston Wall of Fame (the first and most uniquely discovered art production of its kind) and has participated in projects working with top brand campaigns that speak to urban communities. Over the years, GONZO has curated and collaborated on numerous art exhibitions. He recently founded the Graffiti and Street Art Museum (2015, in development), produced the Houston Urban Experience (HUE) Festival (2015 - 2019), and has continued to manage projects through Aerosol Warfare Gallery and Studio.
GONZO247 has volunteered many hours and participated in countless community activities. Organizations he has worked with include Discovery Green, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, TEDxYouth Houston, Avenue CDC - Art on The Avenue, DiverseWorks, Fresh Arts, Houston Arts Alliance, The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, Houston Zoo, and Project Row Houses.
GONZO247 won the Houston Press Best Art Curator in a Non-Museum Setting Award in 2012, and one of his most famous works, Houston Is…, in downtown Houston was also voted the Houston Press Best Public Art Project 2013 and gained a Silver ADDY Award. This mural was honored as the Public Art Project Mural for the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2013. His work appears in published books, including The History of American Graffiti 2011. He received Congressional Recognition from Member of Congress Sheila Jackson Lee for Arts in Community in honor of Hispanic heritage month 2018; received the Houston Metro Hispanic Heritage Month award for Cultural and Historic Trail Blazers 2018; awarded a City of Houston Proclamation on September 27, for his artistic efforts and education in Houston 2016; received a City of Houston Proclamation on September 18, as part of the Mayor's Hispanic Heritage Award for Art in Community 2018; was co-awarded, with Harris County, Preservation Houston's Good Brick Martha Peterson Award for his efforts on redesigning (in collaboration with the original artist, Leo Tanguma), re-painting, and preserving a mural from 1973 titled The Rebirth of Our Nationality located in East End Houston.
In addition to public and private art commissions, GONZO247 has sold works of art from his studio to collectors who live locally, regionally, and globally. His upbringing and experiences while in Houston, his travels, and his Mexican culture have artistically inspired him to continue creating and honoring his culture and background while striving to collaborate cross-culturally.
Carolyn Casey Figueroa
Carolyn Casey Figueroa (Artist Manager and Creative Consultant) is an Artist Advocate, Art Project Leader, and Community Engagement Coordinator at Artists in Pursuit. With over 20 years of experience in the workforce, Carolyn has provided leadership and management through various roles to help organizations, artists, and small businesses.
In 2018 she earned a Master's Degree in Arts Leadership from the University of Houston, gaining further knowledge on where change in current art systems could respond to community and artist advocates.
Her practice provides a wide range of public and private art expressions, collaborations, concepts, and projects realized through teamwork, advocacy, innovation, appreciation, and respect. She acknowledges the importance of viewing art as a verb and an artists’ ongoing adventure with acceptable imperfections and unveiling unexpected moments of truth.
Her inspiration comes from the idea of a change, creating a demand for equal rights to respect and understanding within an art community. She is married to multimedia artist GONZO247 and manages his brand globally.
